The Dress Stole The Show
On the red carpet wearing a strapless red Valentino dress.
Opening the show in a vanilla-colored bustier Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci gown, and accessorized with a Tiffany diamond ring and earrings, a diamond bracelet from the Tiffany Archives and Brian Atwood peep-toes. She was styled by celebrity stylist and fashion guru Rachel Zoe. So Old Hollywood Glam!
During the shows only musical number Anne sported a menswear-inspired look — a custom tux by Lanvin and paired it with feminine accessories like Tiffany jewels and custom Brian Atwood heels decked out in Swarovski crystals.
Her third ensemble was Vivienne Westwood corseted Couture gown with embroidered lace and sequins. She sparkled in a diamond and amethyst necklace from the Tiffany Archives as well as a Tiffany yellow sapphire and diamond ring and Jimmy Choo platforms.
Next, my favorite look! A silver beaded tassel dress by Oscar de la Renta, Tiffany jewels and gold Jimmy Choo peep-toes. Love!
This color is stunning! A burgundy silk chiffon gown by Atelier Versace with Tiffany jewels and Casadei pumps.
Here she is in a sapphire Giorgio Armani Privé custom satin dress with Armani Privé platform heels, tanzanite and diamond earrings, a black onyx and diamond bracelet, and a diamond and blue sapphire ring, all by Tiffany.
To close the big night, Hathaway wore Tiffany jewels with a lace and crystal dress and sandals by designer Tom Ford.
Amaze! Gorge! Love!

Hidden Gems
Thanks again to www.racked.com for posting fabulous store finds. This one happens to be in NYC. Soho to be exact. Melet Mercantile. Check it out.

"....Melet Mercantile, a vintage showroom on Wooster Street in Soho. There were specific hard-to-find relevant pieces everywhere, clearly curated to current trends. There were awesome letterman jackets in every color (and I mean every color), as well as carefully organized vintage sweatshirts, t-shirts, and Converse. It also has an amazing book selection that even included vintage copies (in perfect condition) of publications such as Interview magazine. The entire book selection is great for finding a unique gift. It's a lofted space within a Soho building, so you get to avoid all the busyness of the streets below. It's a by-appointment-only space, and once you get there, you will completely understand why, as it's very overwhelming, yet perfectly organized and well-kept."—Yale Breslin

Looks Amaze! Check it out if you are in the area. I know I surely will.
Local Celebrity Comes To Niche This Spring
Who is this Local Celebrity you say? Check out the about us blurb on www.localcelebrity.com......
We got the idea for Local Celebrity back in 2003 while we were at a music festival in rural Illinois – Cornerstore. We were rocking out in the middle of a corn field when inspiration struck us like heavy metal thunder, “Let’s ditch our jobs and start a t-shirt company!” Pretty much just like that we packed up our bags and headed to San Diego to move into our grandma’s ranch. After a long road-trip, a few brainstorming sessions, and a couple dozen high-fives, we came up with our first set of designs. We maxed out our credit cards, bought a screen-printing machine, and taught ourselves how to make t-shirts, and that’s what started it all.
It wasn’t long before Grandma's ranch couldn’t handle the abundance of freshness we were churning out, so we packed up again, and moved to a very glamorous part of downtown Los Angeles known as Skid Row. We’ve been laying our magical mac down here ever since.
All the products that we sell are produced 100% from scratch by us right here in LA. We do not buy other mid-grade t-shirts like American Apparel or Hanes and print designs on them, and try to call ourselves a brand. We buy our own ultra-premium fabrics, then cut & sew our own custom t-shirts, creating the perfect canvas for our designs! You'll notice the difference as soon as you see and feel them, if you haven't already...and you'll especially notice the difference when you're getting "snapped" all over town…. “Oh snap!! Where’d you get that shirt!?”
You can find Local Celebrity in the finest retail stores all over the world and right here at LocalCelebrity.com, where you can also collect limited-edition shirts that are not available in stores or anywhere else on the web.
We’re family owned and operated, and absolutely love what we do! We truly appreciate all our loyal customers and fans. We add new content to the site every day, and new designs every week, so be sure to visit us often!
Woot woot,

Good Bye Mac, Nortsrom and Saks.....Hello CVS!

Selena Gomez and cover girl cosmetics. Gorgeous!!

Selena Gomez's look was created ENTIRELY with CoverGirl products. Shocking. And beautiful. But Shocking.
Here is how makeup artist Karen Mitchell achieved such perfection.....(thanks to racked.com)
Next, using a medium brush, "I blended the light shade from the CoverGirl Smoky ShadowBlast ($9) in Bronze Fire on the entire eyelid up to the eyebrow," Mitchell says. "I then took step two, the darker shade, and with a smaller eyeshadow brush, I blended the color above and below the eye as well as into the crease of the eyelid. I then used the CoverGirl Eye Enhancers Eyeshadow ($3.50) in Brown Smolder on the outside corners of her upper eyelids to create more dimension and drew a thin line with a slight wing to the outer edges on the upper lash line using CoverGirl LineExact Liquid liner ($7) in Very Black. I finished her eyes with two coats of CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara ($7.50) in Black."
"For her skin, I used CoverGirl NatureLuxe Silk Foundation ($12) to give her a flawless finish," Mitchell says. "To highlight the t-zone and highlight under the eyes I used the CoverGirl CG Smoothers Concealer ($6) in medium. To set the base I used CoverGirl TruBlend Pressed Powder ($8) in #2 Translucent Light with a soft brush. I then applied to the apples of the cheeks Cheekers Blush ($4) in Pretty Peach."
"I finished her look with CoverGirl LipPerfection lipcolor ($7.50) in the bright gorgeous shade of Siren."Let's do the math....$66.50. Good bye Mac, Hello CVS!
