niche-a-licious: Look who's joining the niche family....De Lacy

Bridgette De Lacy grew up loving fashion and “Dressing Up”. She developed her sense of creativity and love for design at an early age. She continued to refine her personal style while attending design school at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising against the crisp cultural backdrop of San Francisco.

After Graduation, Bridgette relocated to Los Angeles to take the fashion world head on. She started by managing and buying for some of California's top boutiques.

Currently, she is the executive director of Michelle Roy Designs. (Micheleel Roy is available at www.shopnicheboutique.com) Ms. Roy is known for her silk flowers, her wearable accessories and celebrity clientele. Designing with Michelle has been part of Bridgette’s inspiration for her new collection using her own knowledge of accessories and her understanding of how to dictate the use of fabrics to create their best forms.

De Lacy has emerged with a ready to wear collection… A line of dresses that is whimsical and wearable. De Lacy knows that all women are unique so each piece in the limited edition signature series is numbered indicating what cut the client is wearing. The spring 2010 collection has something for every mood. De Lacy has the ability to cross over from the work day to an evening of possibilities. The intricate braided ties with chain, sequin accents and silk chiffon underlay gives cotton fabric a new twist. In using classic shapes in modern fabrics with fresh details Bridgette is living her design philosophy that “Nothing should have an expiration date”.
